CRISIS AND ISSUE MANAGEMENT

Kelsey spent nearly half of her career working at a strategic communications firm, helping for profits and nonprofits define and align on their missions, drive business growth, remain competitive and strategically position themselves as community and industry leaders.  
 

Some of Kelsey's efforts include:

  • Managed campaign volunteer efforts for the $15 million tax issue campaign to repair the Cincinnati Museum Center, securing the widest victory margin in the levy’s history.

  • Conducted a comprehensive communications audit for a nearly 100 year-old national nonprofit who was facing an identity crisis. The comprehensive audit was used as the foundation for future business growth and the organization is healthier now than ever.

  • Project-lead for a nationally recognized affordable housing nonprofit lender to revive their reputation. The situation was complex and a communications strategy, including crisis management, was developed to cultivate and repair their relationship with the local community.
